Kouluri is one of the Greeks’ favorite baked goods. Often you may find yourself at a desk in the morning. Like a Greek bagel sprinkled with sesame seeds, with a delicious crispy crust. They eat it cooked fresh, and if it is also hot.
- Wheat flour 500 g.
- Olive oil 50 ml.
- Water 250 ml.
- Salt 10 g.
- Sugar 50 g.
- Dry yeast 25 g.
- Sesame 100 g.
Mix water, yeast, olive oil, sugar, and salt until smooth.
Pass the flour through a sieve and add it to the resulting mass. Stir the mixture in a large saucepan.
After that, cut the dough into 50-gram pieces with the help of a kitchen knife set and roll it out. Form the pieces into bagels.
Dip them in hot water, then in sesame seeds. Let stand for 15 minutes and bake at 240 degrees for 10 minutes.
